It is my belief that beyond the science and art of Medicine, my medical practice is more about the trust that develops between my patient and me. Injuries to the brain and spinal cord are quite unforgiving and can be tragic. Additionally, your physicians are going to ask that you make choices regarding treatments that are numerous, contradictory and confusing.
I want to help you understand these choices, and therefore my goal in building this website is to provide you with a balanced source of information and a resource in your search for understanding. Together, and with the knowledge you acquire from this website and other research sources, it is my sincere hope that you can make the right choices.
If you are a patient of mine; please let me know how you are doing after your treatment is done. I enjoy following your progress, but as I cover three hospitals, follow up is difficult at best. Click on the “contact” part of this website and drop me a line from time to time. I really hope you, or your loved one, recovers fully and has a great life.
